You may run into an instance when you want to share access to your website hosting with another person or developer.
Rather than handing over your username and password, SiteGround offers a different, more secure solution. It is called adding a Collaborator. Follow the steps below to add a collaborator to your SiteGround hosted website.

- Login to your SiteGround account at siteground.com. (Your username will be the email you used to sign up for the account.)
- Click on the Websites tab in the main menu of your dashboard.
- Click Manage on the website you want to share access to.
- On the Website Details page, the Extras tab will be selected. Click on the Users tab to the right of that tab.
- Click the orange Add Users button
- Click Select under Collaborator
- Under Add User, click Please Select and select New User
- Add the email address and name for the person you wish to share access with
- Click Add.
The person you have added will receive an email to accept the collaboration. They will need to create a SiteGround account if they do not currently have one. Once they accept the invitation, they will be able to access your hosting to update files and manage your website.
